The Atwater was a sweet surprise, tucked away just a few blocks from the water. The room was perfect and the hotel itself was so inviting with all of its little areas to sit and relax. Breakfast was very good and the homemade chocolate cookies in the afternoon hit the spot! I wish we had planned to stay in town longer. We will just have to come back and stay here again!

First time staying at The Attwater and it won't be our last! Such a cute boutique hotel tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Newport but conveniently located so it's walkable to downtown! The manager, Peter, was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and equipped with everything we needed for our weekend stay. And the included breakfast had amazing homemade offerings. Another bonus of The Attwater was free parking. Highly recommend!

Loved this place. The location is amazing and is walkable to the CliffsWalk, downtown Newport, and the International Tennis Hall of Fame. To boot, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again and again.
