The staff greets as you walk through the door and make you feel like family immediatley, The main room with the soaring ceiling and the incredible fire place is inviting, comfortable and a social magnet for everyone staying at the lodge. The rooms are comforable and so quiet. I can't say enough about the breakfast, home made,filling and incredible. It was one of the most relaxing stays we have ever had. "They are currently under renovations which is totally understandable but perhaps double check that it’s done before you stay. The rooms also need a lot of updating. The bathroom area was very dirty and the bathtub didn’t drain while showering so there was a lot of standing water during our shower. The pool area was also crammed because of the remodeling and the hot tub was out of order/closed. Once the renovations are completed I’m sure it will have the charm it once had.
