"Loved our stay. Quaint old motel nestled in a lovely wood on the edge of town. Outdoor seats all around to hang out under the trees in the evening. Management was prompt, helpful and so friendly. Restroom was small for 6ft+ husband, but it was clean with hot water and good water pressure."

"Probably the cleanest hotel we've used, including major chain hotels. Bathroom floor was spotless even in the corners behind the toilet. Very unique request sheet used each morning to let the staff know what you might need. Each person was very friendly and attentive."

"The staff at Spearfish Canyon Lodge and Roughlock Falls Restaurant never tried to charge me a fee to use my Visa DEBIT card! The restaurant Cheyenne Crossing did try and charge me a fee to use my debit card, which is a federal offense. Different rules apply to charge card vs. debit cards. Thank you to Spearfish Canyon Lodge! A classy comforting experience!"

"This is the 2nd time for us staying in the yurts. Very affordable, comfy bed, cleanliness of whole property, attention to details, and beautiful location. So close to nature and owners do a nice job of providing everything you need. Lanterns, bedding, towels, toiletries, firewood, coffee. Enjoy the decorating and landscaping outside the property. There is also a gathering space with seating, games, beverages, and tv viewing. Plenty of places to gather and enjoy nature! I look forward to...
