I wasn’t confident about self checking into building and room the key pad at the entry wasn’t operating properly and I had to call the emergency number which they then reset remotely. The room was clean and good bed. There was no waste bin in the room and no lamps so either the main light was on or you were in the dark.

My room smelt terrible like cigarette smoke, despite being a non-smoking room and not smoky inside. When washed my pjs, smell was in them so I'm not sure whether the sheets were washed before I arrived. Showed a nice share kitchen but I couldn't find any utensils or crockery. Air con broke on my last night there and only able to open window a very shirt way for ventilation anyway. The booking staff were nice.

Sone where to put your head and shower for however long you need to be in Newcastle. A lick of paint and some new furniture would help in making the rooms a bit brighter. Soft closing cupboards and draws in the kitchen would stop people from slamming them shut and the wall vibrating in the room that backs onto the kitchen.
