Southwestern New Mexico Hotels with Air Conditioning

"I recently stayed at Hotel Encanto Las Cruces and overall had a positive experience. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-suited for families. The property itself is well maintained, and the overall atmosphere reflects the charm you’d expect from a Southwest-style hotel. One of the biggest advantages is the location. It’s conveniently close to Mesilla Plaza, downtown Las Cruces, and White Sands National Park, making it a great base for exploring the area with kids. The only downside during our stay was that the room was not serviced daily, which was a bit inconvenient and not quite what we expected for this type of hotel. That said, the overall experience was still good, and I would consider staying here again—especially for a family trip where space and location matter most."

"This property is not as pictured. It was my opinion the pillows were lumpy rocks, my husband said they were tolerable. The elevator was not clean. The shower and products were decent. The reality is these “nicer hotels” are barely elevated from a budget, budget hotel. "

"Close by to food, Walmart, and expressway. Rooms were decent. We just stayed to sleep. So for the price it was worth it. "

"Bottom line it’s a cheap motel. Rooms are updated and clean. Breakfast was eggs or cereal. It’s a cheap stay for a reason. But front desk was friendly, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Don’t think I would stay again. "

"Horrible place. Would not stay here. I complained to hotels.com for a refund they said they tried to contact and never got a hold of anyone. Despite me never staying there. So they are keeping my money."

"My favorite place to stay in Las Cruces. The rooms are very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really good. "

"Since it was my first time visiting the area, everything felt unfamiliar at first. However, the staff were incredibly kind and made me feel very comfortable throughout my stay. I would especially like to thank the front desk staff member, Skylar (I may not remember the name exactly), who took the time to explain even the smallest details so thoroughly—I truly appreciated it. The pool and hot tub were both in great condition, and I really enjoyed them. I was also very satisfied with the breakfast, especially the omelet and coffee, which were excellent. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely love to stay here again."
