"Room was spacious and very clean. Nice quiet location and within easy driving distance to all kinds of restaurants and amenities. Breakfast area was very well maintained and had the usual nice breakfast foods of any hotel. No complaints. LOVED having the kitchen in my room as I did prepare my own meal."

"TL:DR, The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I paid Expedia extra for a room that wasn’t available, and the staff accommodated as much as they were able and was very friendly. I very much appreciated that. I wanted to stay here because I’ve driven by it literally hundreds of times and the atrium chandelier always looks so nice from the freeway. Inside, the rest of the hotel is also nice, just old. The carpeted floor is just slightly sticky in the way that most South Louisiana hotels are. The bathroom is fine and functional but outdated. The breakfast was above average but nothing spectacular. BUT…that atrium is glorious :) I wouldn’t seek out another stay at this hotel, but there is nothing wrong here and I certainly wouldn’t be opposed to it. It was LIGHT YEARS better than the other hotel I stayed at in Lafayette."
