"I’m always a tad concerned when others call a hotel quirky (what’s one person’s quirky is another person’s odd) but this word is very spy in a very positive way. I’ve never known such a relaxed hotel; the staff (with absolutely no exceptions) went out of their way to engage, chat, explain, facilitate… anything you could want. "Wonderful B&B. Last minute booking after ferry was cancelled. Family room was spacious and immaculately clean, with separate bunk bedroom. Ordered local pizza delivery and ate it in the lovely garden. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, lots of choices and cooked to order. Thank you for making us feel so welcome at short notice. "

"This is a fantsstic property. Plenty of communication before-hand. Music plays to welcome you (as it's a self-check in), the place is very clean and everything you need is included. It is a shame that no-one is there to provide breakfast & that you have a continental breakfast tray instead but we would certainly recommend The Highcliffe."
