"The Hampton is by far the best hotel in Wells, a boring little town seemingly at the end of the world. The view of the mountains is pretty, however. If you must stay in Wells—which is basically the last town in Nevada proper on I-80–you should stay at the Hampton. A new hotel only about 4 years old, decent breakfast included. "

There were a couple of dining options within walking distance, and the area felt safe and quiet. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a grill area. Breakfast had a good variety, including warm options like waffles, eggs, and sausages. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stop on our journey."

"For an older property, this was nicely renovated. My only negative observation was that I wish there was better weatherstripping around the door. I could see sunlight all around the door in the morning when I woke, which means the Air Con/Heater has to work harder to maintain room temps."

"This property is the best budget motel I've come across. The property is being upgraded by the owners and the rooms are extremely clean, with more than adequate towels, the sheets are new and clean, the pillows new. No pets or smoking is allowed on the property. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The parking area is being upgraded and there's a big city park very close by. There are more than adequate restaurant options including a Chinese restaurant right next door to the motel. ...
