"Clean and near to stores and restaurants"

"The room was clean, and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near the amphitheater and is easy to access. Breakfast was good. Because the hotel is close to the road, the room was a bit noisy, but white noise helped minimize the disturbance. The bed was very soft and sat low to the ground. We would have preferred a firmer mattress. We had reserved a king room but were given a room with a queen bed and a daybed instead. Overall a good experience for a one night stay."

"Fine stay but the hotel alarm clock went off at 6 am. All I really needed was a good night’s sleep on a pit stop during a long road trip. Got to bed late after a day of driving then got woken up on my last day of vaca at 6a. Back on the road today, tired after my stay at La Quinta. Everything else was just fine but taking the time to write this to suggest that cancelling alarm clocks should be part of the housekeeping staff’s rounds."

"The Guest House is impeccably maintained and in a great location to experience downtown. There was plenty of off street free parking behind the home. Beds and rooms are very comfortable and there is complimentary items for breakfast in the kitchen."

Probably the only thing missing was the Hilton honors welcome but absolutely nothing major! I booked again for another stay and looking forward to it!"

"My card continues to be charged by them and they will not give me a reason why. On the day of check out they charged me an extra $60. When I called and asked why, I was told it was a mistake and would be reversed in a few days. A few days later they charged me over $100 more. Continuing to try to speak to them and they cannot give me answer as to why it is happening."

"My biggest complaint about this hotel was the fact that they have a barn door style door for the bathroom and on both sides it does not go flush with the wall and sticks out a good inch 2 inch and a half. There’s no privacy there’s not even an exhaust fan in the bathroom. We stayed for one night, the morning we were leaving we were having breakfast, which was excellent however, the fire alarm started going off Which was obviously a false alarm but they never mentioned that to anyone. "The room itself was clean and up to date. The hallway was not air conditioned or clean. There was the aroma of pot in the hallway at all times. The hotel is located right behind two gas stations and on a busy road. It was noisy. The breakfast left much to be desired. They had bread, but no toaster. Two cereals with one being almost empty and very little milk. While they had waffles available to be made there was nothing else offered but juice and coffee. "Staff always accommodating. Good location, and parking."

"The cabinet between our beds was leaning forward and the drawers were unable to close. We reported it, but it wasn't fixed. We had to get tape from the front desk to take them closed. Someone could injure themselves."

"Overall, the stay was great. Location is perfect for walking around downtown Raleigh. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The front desk and housekeeping staff were above and beyond when it came to requesting extra towels and sundries (coffee, cups, etc.) and telling us about local information.
