"Overall, a great hotel rooms are very small. Staff was a bit cranky understandable considering what they went through with the hurricane food was better than average not great. The beach is one of the best I’ve ever been on."

The dining room felt like an old supper club, nearly all vegetation on the property was dead, the surfaces near the cliffs were extremely worn, some of the patio furniture and day beds were completely rotted. This property needs some serious TLC and updating. "

"Rims were clean very quaint little village there. Do not order the lobster. It was pure mush. I don’t believe anywhere in Jamaica. They know how to cook lobster order something else. If you eat on the beach, which is absolutely lovely and very nice. They had a fire going. It was a very nice setting. Free breakfast was a nice added feature. "

"Everything was great at the RIU Hotel Negril. We missed our connecting flight due to lack of flight attendant with Spirit (which I will never fly again with them), so we missed our first night stay. We were able to call the hotel to let them know, and upon arriving the next day they upgraded us to an ocean front room. I did not encounter one unfriendly hotel employee. I can’t wait to go back! "
