"The hotel staff are standout! They are very helpful and friendly and also helped with some of our site seeing plans. The hotel could do with a little more in terms of activities for the guests, a games room with pool/snooker, table tennis would be very good. The restaurant staff were also lovely, friendly bunch! "The hotel is tired and worn. It must have been great at some point but now it looks neglected. Needs paint, many repairs, and a lot of cleaning. There are broken clay pots with dead plants near an entry staircase that looks like it hasn’t been swept or cleaned in years. In our room there were holes in the walls and ceiling that were simply filled with a glob of white plastic foam. No bathroom amenities except some hand soap. The staff were nice and the included breakfast was decent."
