Since it was very hot it would have been useful to have some ice trays for the freezer. The cottage was quite dusty in places especially the bathrooms. There was also a mild musty smell downstairs like it had been locked up for a long time. The outside furniture had bird excrement and cobwebs all over them. We were quite happy as spent...

"Cottage had a welcoming feel to it, was well furnished with quality furniture and furnishings. Clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Lots of space to store clothes in the bedrooms and plenty of hangers too. Parking was great and the enclosed courtyard was ideal for pets, children and to enjoy the outdoor space. We will return "

"My husband and I had a pleasant 2 night stay here and the staff were lovely and friendly, but there were a few points that brought our review score down from an excellent to a good. The position of the hotel is excellent with just a short walk into town and it had a free car park. The reception staff were very welcoming but our room was through a maze of corridors and steps. The hotel is a mix of some areas that are beautifully decorated with very pretty wall coverings and curtains but other areas could do with a refresh. Our room was fine with a very comfortable king sized bed, nice clean white bedding and towels but bed runner across the bottom of the bed was stained and could do with a clean. The TV was tiny and the tea tray was not very generous. The bathroom was adequate it had a shower above a bath, but we had to have a bath as we couldnโt get the shower to work, a decent shower gel and hand soap are provided but no other extras. Breakfast was excellent and we couldnโt fault it. If you go here at a weekend there is a chance that there may be a wedding or a party taking place that can be quite noisy into late evening. Even though we have criticised some areas would stay here again."

"An absolutely beautiful hotel from the moment you enter the grounds. Wonderfully renovated property with gorgeous understated style everywhere. Our bedroom was luxurious and comfortable with complimentary minibar and home made snacks. Very welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast and dining were of a good standard in great surroundings. Couldnโt fault the hotel. Will return."

"A lovely cottage in a very quiet location but not remote from other houses, good parking. Warm and comfortable and well presented, a garage a short walk down the main road supplies any urgent requirements. Close to lovely beaches at Saundersfoot and Tenby, also close to Narberth which is a very attractive town with interesting shops. Colby Woodland Gardens NT also close by with great walks and cafe, just a small charge for parking. All in all a very nice cottage in a great location, highly recommend....ps dogs welcome"
