Room is simple with matress, small ground table, A/C. Not much soundproof. No elevator & need to use stiff stairs. Host seems living in 1st floor. Use key to open/close room. Place is located on the side of small car road, not inside. Search '清舎' on google map."

"I went here as a single traveller with little to Japanese language skills and found it amazing. Though the staff had limited English, everything was communicated well and I felt very welcomed and comfortable. It’s very close to all the main attractions of Nara, but out of the way enough to where you’re not surrounded by people all the time. If I ever go back to Nara, I will certainly stay here again. "

"石上神宮参拝に朝いちばんに　行きたかったので 「やまべ」さんに泊まらせていただきました。 素泊まりでしたので　多くは望まなかったし お値段がとてもリーズナブルだったので　それなりだと 思います。 おばちゃんが　親切でお話するのが楽しかったです。 また　自転車を無料で借りられたので　石上神宮まで行くのがショートカットできてありがたかったです。 でないと　けっこう歩くことになるので．．． また　天理に行くときには　お願いすると思います。"
