Great views from a luxurious room

I had a fabulous room with a terrace with view of the harbour. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great spot, near to the ships/ferries and near to a bus to the airport.

Awesome stay at POETICA hotel. I would certainly stay again. Only thing was the water in our shower was very low pressure and super cold. Other than that staff were amazing, breakfast was great and location was very ideal. We didn’t need to take a taxi or car ride anywhere as everything was in walking distance including the port. We loved it here!

Was a little unsure at first the entrance is in an alley and you don’t meet the host til you get to the top floor the rooms are on, staff was very friendly, helpful, and kind, room was clean, great shower, good view, lastly great working AC.

Great location for walking around Naples and taking the ferry to Capri or Sorrento. We accidentally went there on a holiday and traffic was pretty busy but normal and easy when we left. We highly recommend this hotel!

Impossible to find or get in, and internet connection is very bad. FYI - it’s on the 8th floor of the building. Elevator very small and sketchy. Aside from that, great property, great room, awesome service and staff!

Mixed review here as the hotel itself is quite nice. Staff were wonderful, some of which did not speak English but it was not an issue as they were happy to work through translation and make sure whatever needs were satisfied without any hint of resentment to tourists (which from my experience is rare in Naples). We had mechanical issues with our door. We did not realize until after sleeping our first night that the strike on our door was not engaging and our door was actually unsecured the whole night. To solve this they gave us traditional keys to bolt the door for the rest of our stay, but on returning after the first day out the cleaning staff had left the door open. This was frustrating but given the hotel's boutique setup we believed it to be quite secure and was not the end of the world. Also noticed the bathroom vanity is starting to fall off the wall. Despite this we enjoyed our stay. Location is very accessible to transit, the port and the palace. Being on the top floor of a large building in a historic city (with roof top hot tub) is pretty cool and the hallmark of this hotel. Can tell they are a young venture and hope they can find a way to keep up the maintenance!

The view was stunning! We had a whole wall in our hotel room that is just a window from floor to ceiling! It is such a stunning view of Napoli. The room is upgraded and beautiful. The staff are so welcoming, happy and helpful. Prior to arriving, I was able to ask questions with prompt responses even on the day of arrival such as leaving our luggage if we arrived early (which you can do) and checking out early to Herculaneum and leaving our luggage there until we can come back to pick up (which you can also do). When arriving in Napoli, it was very easy to get on the metro and then walk to the property. The location is a very close walk to many of the tourist spots which is super convenient especially as the metro is 5 minute walk away. We felt safe walking around as there are many people out and about enjoying the city. Everyone at the hotel was welcoming, kind, and accommodating. They were very friendly and approachable. Finding the hotel was very easy. The city is very lively at night, if you are a light sleeper, this might not be the best location for you as there are lots of restaurants near by and the locations is by a main road where cars may be honking. The hotel can't do much about the noise but I will say, that is part of the charm of this city. The outside balcony has a beautiful view so we were able to come back to our hotel to enjoy the sunset. The room had snacks and drinks in the fridge cold for you but you also have to pay for them.

Camera bella ma il resto da valutare

La camera molto bella e pulita. Peccato per lo shock appena arrivati in albergo in quanto per arrivarci è necessario prendere un ascensore opinabile in un edificio che non è chiaro quando sia a norma… da una stradina che non dá un granché sicurezza. La reception è aperta qualche ora…non chiari gli orari. Il ragazzo che ci ha accolti è stato super gentile, nulla da dire. Ma la gestione della struttura non è assolutamente da albergo 4stelle e relativo costo
