Well worth the stay

Overall a very nice stay. I wouldn’t consider this a 4.5 star hotel, but it was nice and comfortable, staff was friendly and room was functional and a decent size. River view room was nice, beautiful view.

Visiting Namur, this is the right hotel!

Very happy with amenities, location, staff, cleanliness and pretty much everything. The room was exceptional, really quiet and with an exceptional bed! We were able to fully recharge each night with a very good night’s sleep! We enjoyed the river view, the breakfast and also the fitness and wellness area!!!

Stopped for the F1 in Spa. Staff were mint! Were more than happy to call a taxi for us in the mornings as we couldn't communicate with the firm's. Nice area, facilities were mint. Very small gym. Dumbbells only go up to 14kg but there's a duel cable machine. Top notch.

Amazing stay at Mercure

What an amazing experience we had at Mercure Namur! Thanks to Vanessa at reception our stay kicked off with a big smile on our faces. She kindly took care of every request we made and was able to provide us with an upgrade based on our Gold membership. She also helped us with parking advice and information. What can I say she was a total angel! The hotel is very modern and I like the style. Everything is spotless clean. Minibar was free which was a nice touch. Hotel is located by the river and close to the Citadelle. You can hike up to the Castle and I fully recommend stopping by Le Panorama restaurant (it has the most amazing views and good prices).

Convenient and comfortable

Convenient and comfortable. However, since I previously extended my reservation for another 2 nights in the same room, staff checked me out and then checked me in for new reservation at 6:30 am. This resulted in my television being turned on … and it woke me up at 6:30 am. Staff didn’t seem very apologetic about doing this. I would expect them to know that TVs get turned on when they check in guests. I wasn’t amused by this error since I wasn’t able to get back to sleep. Handing me a free drink card was insulting.

Close to the castle

Nice hotel attached to the casino very near the castle. I enjoyed running through the castle in the morning. Other than the castle, the location is rather inconvenient and away from the rail station and town, but still walkable.

This is a fabulous hotel, spotlessly clean, very well equipped, well located with good views of the river and the citadel. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The restaurant is something else again. Amazing food!
