Check in was a breeze, upon arrive they were painting the outside woodwork. This is an old motel, so I did not expect it to be so good but to my surprise it was it was very good. We got an ocean view room, and it was clean had comfortable bed. The shower is small enough for one person, the coffee pot is small makes one cup but there is a 7/11 a short distance down the road. The ocean view rooms all have chair just outside the rooms and the beach is right at your room. The Nags Head fishing pier is right next door and is currently being remodeled but it like it would be open very soon. I would not hesitate to stay there again. I can't say much about the other rooms, but the beach side rooms are nice and clean and no odors. Thanks for the great stay.

The parking lot is definitely tight and requires you to turn around in a tight space. I don’t recommend bringing big cars. Most of the rooms overlook parking lots on both sides so we had to keep the shades closed most of the time. That being said it was super clean. They provide a great number of towels which was appreciated - and they were super soft. The property was old but that allows you to be right on the beach with beach access so it’s a great trade up. Rooms are small but functional. We went in May and were able to check in early. Staff was super helpful, pool was refreshing, it was perfect for our 2 night stay. Sheets are scratchy though so I recommend bringing your own pillow. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely enjoyed the access to the beach and the staff were very attentive. There were a few large issues though. The tub would not drain leaving mid shin deep water while trying to shower. There were two large stinging caterpillars one in the towels the other on the wall. The AC window unit would not stay running keeping the room temperature very hot. After calling twice to verify they had a coffee pot that took pods upon arrival it was filter and grounds however the staff was able to find one in storage. The parking lot was very small and congested. Other tenants had barking dogs all throughout the night and blaring tvs until early morning hours.

Old motel with very tight parking. Staff was friendly! Room was old but very clean! AC unit smelled like a wet dog when it went on but eventually the odor disappeared. Walked up a few stairs for a very nice view of the beach! For an overnight stay it was cheap and the king size bed was comfortable! It was a perfect stop for the night since it was quiet!
