"The hotel is in a fantastic central location in Amsterdam, and if you book a room with a canal view it’s definitely worth it, the view is beautiful. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The rooms are quite small, which may be expected in such a central area, but it’s something to keep in mind when booking. Unfortunately, the cleaning standards during our stay were quite poor, which was disappointing. Our room had two windows, but one of them was partially broken, with the hook loose when opening it from the side. It could still be opened from the top, but it clearly needs maintenance. The building is also quite noisy at night due to other guests, although it is generally calm during the daytime. Overall, the location and staff are the main positives, but improvements in cleaning, maintenance, and noise levels would significantly improve the experience."

"The Ibis is located right by the train station. For anyone arriving by train, this is an excellent choice. The hotel is also centrally located so it's super easy to walk, jump on the tram, or call an uber, taxi, or hop on a bike if you have one. The hotel lobby is modern and inviting. It's clean and full of activity from the on-site restaurant. It's a nice spot to just hang out at. The rooms are spacious not too small at least the one we stayed in. While it was comfortable my only gripe is the bathroom could use a refresh. It feels more outdated than the actual room itself. Otherwise, it was a comfortable stay."
