Upon entry, the lobby smells new and clean, the gift shop was fully equipped, the receptionist greeted with a smile. However, the room didn’t look anything like the beautiful photos. The family suite labeled 2 bedrooms wasn’t hardly 2 bedrooms, honestly an odd layout for families with children. The room had prior guest trash left behind, the room was beat up and dirty. The bed was hard, had paper thin blankets and flat pillows. Lights in the bathroom were out, hinges were missing from doors and the door covering the HVAC closet was propped up and even fell on us when we walked in. The room only has ventilation in the back half and they have a limit of 70 which you can turn the air down to, also pretty challenging on 90 degree summer days. The website list three pools however there was one large pool and one kiddo pool, the other shaded pool has been replaced with a bar. I did see the maintenance crew cleaning the pool each morning however, only one exit gate works to access the beach. Be careful, walking through hot sand only to have to turn around and find another gate which is a ways away can be hard on small children especially when your hands are full! Overall, I definitely feel like we overpaid for our stay considering the photos sold me. This Grande Beach claimed to be renovated however it didn’t feel renovated at all.

Clean room. Very pretty property. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Parking was extremely convenient. Location is central to most area attractions.

Wasn’t impressed at all! The 12th floor room was loud, and had NO dressers! The rooms were far apart and didn’t feel safe. Ended up switching to the LL floor room and which was quieter, and came with only 1 dresser for 4-5 guests, and offered no where to sit but on the beds for a week. Would never stay again!
