"This property was so clean and very close to the beaches and tons of shopping. The rooms were very very large and spotless. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was very good with lots of cooked and fresh options and plenty of room to sit with young families. My only complaints are that the elevator on the third floor had a button that kept sticking and made it hard to control. There was also quite a bit of construction going on at the light at the property and kept me from coming and going easily. Also because of this construction, the Internet went out and I was unable to get my emails."

"Let's start with the good stuff. The hotel was clean, the staff was amazing. The breakfast was good, but there was no fruit except for wrapped apples. The "snack" in the afternoon from 5:30-7:30 consisted of only chips, salsa, pretzels, and a dip of some kind. In other Embassy Suite hotels I have stayed in, the afternoon happy hour snack was much more varied with veggies, crackers, and fruits. The lights in the outer room of our suite were so dim, one could not read from them. We ended up buying our own lightbulbs (which we took home) for the lamps. But the king bed was wonderful. The chairs in the breakfast eating area were very worn. And the tables, no matter how many times the staff wiped them, were very sticky. The pool is okay, but the whine from the machine behind the pool area was annoying and constant; would have hated to have a room above them on that side. It seems like this hotel has seen better days, and they are cutting corners on some things. Not sure I would stay here again."

"The desk clerk was super nice. The room appeared clean but smelled of mildew. The tiles in the bathroom had lifted up and when showering, the water flooded the floor all the way out to the entry way. I told the front desk clerk about it. She said it needed a shower guard installed. So why wasn’t it????? The pool is actually more of a cold, large jacuzzi with room in the area for only 2 lounge chairs - tiny - and in a corner next to the parking lot. Clearly an afterthought. The hotel snack area was absolutely pathetic. The size of a small closet with empty shelves. The breakfast was basic, just like all the others. The coffee is horrible - don’t bother. The 9.3 rating is way too gracious. This is a very basic hotel, nothing great."

"Prior to booking this hotel, The property management told me That the hotel was across the street from the beach. The beach is 10 minutes away- the front desk person couldn't even tell us how to get there. The front desk knowledge of anything was unacceptable. The rooms are very small and there's no room for your luggage without it being all squished. The shower door does not close completely, it has a crack in it so water leaks on the floor. I would never look at tru hotels again."

"Great value for the money in Destin, especially compared to many of the vacation rentals nearby. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and exactly what our family needed after long days at the beach. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a simple, well-kept place to sleep, shower, and enjoy the area without overspending, this is a solid choice."

"I booked a regular king bed room and they gave us a handicap room. It was clean but there were things in the shower that were falling off of the handrails. The toilet water was extremely high in the toilet as well which was odd and made it hard to not touch the water. The ac wasn’t super strong but worked okay. The rest of the room was good."

"I am very happy with our choice to stay at the Best Western near Eglin Air Force Base. It was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was a bit small, but the property itself was great. The room was spacious and the price was very reasonable."
