"Absolutely loved our stay! Metro stop just outside, to take you into the old town. Hotel and room were modern and spotlessly clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Room had everything we needed, including a kettle and mini fridge, as well as plenty of storage. "

"The room had black mold on the bathroom ceiling in 2 places, and black mold beginning to appear on a patch in the bedroom. The bathroom smelt horrendous - neither myself of my partner wanted to go in there and as we were staying one night we decided to shower in the next place. Check-in was quite convoluted - we had to get in touch prior to arrange getting into the premises. I called the number provided but the man I spoke to couldn't speak English - which I totally understand!! - but if you're advertising on something as global as Hotels.com, there needs to be a way to communicate with guests from all over the world. We sent a message on Hotels.com prior, but nobody responded and that would have been perfect to reply using a written word translator. When they let us in, a friendly lady showed us to our room. However there was no guidance/advice for the hot tub provided. It was empty, and we tried to fill it at 6pm after coming back from a meal, but it was so slow and the water was cold. We then realised we needed to turn the hot tub on for a good amount of time to get the water to temperature, but it took ages and by 10pm we gave up. We really would have appreciated if someone could have warned us it would be too short a time to use the hot tub. Or at least told us the best way to use it. The afternoon at check in at 1:30pm, and checkout the next morning around 8am there was no one to be seen on the desk."

"Not terrible, but not terribly good. Smell of cigarette smoke in the room and corridors, lots of slamming doors in the middle of the night and the sound of endless building noise / drilling made this a less than ideal stay. Breakfast is basic, room amenities are sub par, room cleanliness was OK, but not terribly clean. Wouldn’t stay again as not worth it for the price "

"Meh It works for a one night stay. Clean and functional. The quality of the mattress was functional. Don’t think it was a real mattress. For some reason we didn’t have hand towels. The toilet seat was a different size than the toilet bowl The bathroom is a one unit plastic container, so after showering the regular bath mat towel that is given in all hotels was not enough to keep it dry. We were also on the first floor, next to the exit door… do not get that room! Every time someone left the building, the door would slam waking us up. There were water running noises coming out of the bathroom all night as well. It felt as if I could hear every time someone in the building flushed as there would be the sound of water running. Noise wise it might have been the location of our room. I’m a deep sleeper and I did not sleep well because of the noise. "

"Pros: Close to airport, helpful staff, inexpensive Cons: *The neighbourhood feels a little bit dodgy because of building demolition next door. But I felt safe enough walking to the metro at 3.00 a.m. *What appears to be a relatively recent renovation has been done with unsuitable materials and very poor workmanship. The state of the building is quite shocking. *The website says there’s a bar and room service, neither of which was true. There is a microwave in what might have been a restaurant area, a Lidl across the street, and a small fridge in the room. No plates or cutlery. There are places to eat in the neighbourhood but I didn’t check them out. *They said not to put toilet paper in the toilet, but didn’t say what to do with it. *The shower is hand-held. There is no bath. *The toilet seat in my room was too small for the toilet and was loose. *The pillows were lumpy and the bed made an alarming sound every time I sat on it. *The TV was enormous. I would not stay again. "
