"We are so glad we chose the Alkima Hotel for our vacation to Athens! It was extremely close to everything which allowed us to walk to all the major sights we wanted to see. Although it is close to the center, it's in a less busy side street, making it quieter than other options. The rooftop pool and patio was beautiful, with stunning views of the Acropolis! "We enjoyed our stay here. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They provided us with a map and highlighted some areas of interest for us. Their buffet breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed it on their beautiful patio each day. We were able to walk to many of the sites we wanted to see. If we needed a taxi, staff would call one for us. The gyros at a small place around the corner from the hotel (don’t remember name but it was recommended by staff) were delicious. We ate there twice. Overall...

"A small modern framed hotel in an old cool, building. Perfect location for centre of Athens, but in a quiet back street, also near three Metro stations, so easy to get from Airport. Friendly Staff and Super fresh breakfast on the roof terrace with views over to Acropolis, plus a very comfortable big bed and some small nice touches in the room. Don’t want to recommend as it might get too busy and we won’t be able to get in 😂"

"The hotel was in a good location and an easy walk to what we wanted to do. The room was a good size and clean. The bed was comfy. The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is located near some lively restaurants which is quite handy but you can hear the music into the night if you are in a front room."

"The staff were nice and helpful. They also had socialising and activities but as we were only there one night we didn’t go. The common areas were decorated with cool furniture and were quite spacious. The room had what we needed. They were kind enough to let us store our luggage and access it multiple times either side of our stay so we could see the city more easily. The area was very nice and had lots of outdoor cafes and restaurants. We walked to the Acropolis and other sight seeing. "
