"It was a lovely place to stay for my wedding weekend. My husband and I got a free upgrade for our first night. I really enjoyed staying at the hotel and will recommend as a number one place to stay when you are in Portsmouth,NH."

"The man at the front desk, Tom, was awesome. He gave us suggestions on where to eat and park and was very thorough about everything and super friendly. The hotel is being renovated so it's a work in progress but our room was comfortable and fairly quiet. Just stayed one night but it was sufficient for what we needed."

"We love the Residence Inn, and have been staying here for years. Unfortunately, the big parking lot next to the hotel is being redeveloped. You have to use valet parking now, and the price for parking went up from $30 to $45 a night. Some of the ease with which you could arrive and stay here is lost. Obviously, there is also a big construction site in front of your window. Let‘s see how this turns out in the next two years."
