"It was a perfect location for catching the ferry to Newfoundland the next day. Literally 1 minute from the ferry terminal. Food in the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and informative about the ferry service. Would definitely stay here again."

"This certainly is a special place. It is a very old house and our rooms were on the 3rd floor, without elevator. We had to leave at 3am to catch a flight and that went without problems. The place is very well situated, very close the the Governor's restaurant, which we can only recommend. There are special procedures that need to be adhered to (no shoes in the house and no barefeet, you have to be quiet, you have to read the instructions 24 hours before arriving and you also have to confirm your stay 24 hours before. When we arrived early, nobody was there but there was a phone number we could call for further instructions. There is breakfast served but we missed that, no other food is served at the property. Quite a unique experience!"
