"This was such a sweet, cozy building in a quiet neighborhood! Well maintained considering its age. The staff are just wonderful and helpful! You immediately feel at home when you walk in the door. There are several places to sit outside, the perfect place to enjoy the “happy hour” they have for the guests every evening. There are a couple of restaurants within a couple of blocks of the hotel. If you are a walker, downtown is only about a mile away. We only used a Lyft once when we were going...

"We have stayed at the Charlottesville’s and Asheville Kimpton Hotel. Both properties and staff have been excellent. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The only area that could use an update is the exercise room. Both properties had broken equipment. They could use a regular recumbent or upright exercise bike too"

"Great hotel option for downtown Asheville. Easy walk to dining and bars. The staff at this location were amazing - so helpful, friendly, and happy to be there. I call this out because it was so refreshing! Our room was spotless and almost sterile which is great for a pet friendly hotel. Parking was easy as well. The nice touch award was the eucalyptus shower steamer pod available in the morning! Will come back. "
