"We circumnavigated Sicily in 10 days and stayed in 6 different towns. Siracusa was our last sightseeing stop. We chose to stay in Floridia to give easy access to the Catania airport for an early flight. Of all our lodging spots, B&B Mediterraneo was the least prepared for our arrival and provided the lowest level of service. It is actually a suite of rooms on the 3rd floor of an apartment building. The location warrants detailed instructions for arrivals. I arrived at dusk which added to...

"Amazing stay with Stefano and family. Great room, beautiful terrace and lovely home made breakfast. Great location to visit Siracusa and then relax."

"It’s a beautiful property. It is about a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Siracusa/Ortigia. It has 2 large pools. The Restaurant at the resort is top notch and the included breakfast is the best in Sicily- absolutely incredible. The staff and owner are very nice and were very accommodating."

"roomvery helpfulls were clean and stuff very helpfull."

"Room very clean, staff welcoming. Roof top terrace a bonus. 20 mins brisk walk to Ortigia. Plentiful breakfast but it would have been good to see real preserves and authentic pastries."

"Good location."

"Breakfast excellent, with hot breakfast cooked to order. Staff are very friendly. Executive room was very clean."

"fantastische mensen, hebben heerlijk gekookt. zeer vriendelijk, hebben overal een oplossing voor. we waren eerder dan de inchecktijd maar geen probleem. Eten was echt fantastisch voor een een eerlijke prijs"

"This B&B was in an excellent location and a great value for the price. The host was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the area and places to eat. He was very kin, allowed us to store our luggage after checkout and allowed us return to have our lunch before collecting our luggage. He also assisted us to the train station with our luggage. He definitely went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here not only due to the location and cleanliness but the...

"It’s such a special grand old hotel. The lookout from our balcony was like a ship porthole, offering this really great view of the waterfront and property. Breakfast was top-notch. All in, a delightful stay!"

"Well run, family owned and operated, very nice property near south end of Otigia Island. Friendly, welcoming, and helpful wirh orientation to the island, restaurant recommendations and reservations, and transportation. Room was spacious, clean, well lit, and had a kitchenette. Breakfast on the upper floor terrace overlooks the sea. Many good, fresh, and tasty breakfast items including freshly squeezed orange juice, scrambled eggs, bacon, bread, many different homemade jams, yogurt, prosciutto,...

"We enjoyed our stay at Giuggiulena Villa! The location is right on the water with a gorgeous view of the Ionian Sea, nearby sea caves, and just a few steps down to access the water for swimming. Sabrina and Claudia are wonderful hosts. They are personable, friendly, and helpful. Claudia is an amazing cook and provides a delicious homemade breakfast. We especially enjoyed the freshly brewed bialetti coffee, freshly baked stuffed breads with spinach & cheese/ ham & cheese, homemade tiramasu, fresh...

"Emanuele made our stay very special. He was super helpful helping us with checking in, brining the luggages and he even parked the car for us. Our room is very spacious, clean and well decorated. Best of all the next door is a fish market and a seafood restaurant owned by the hotel. The food was very delicious. The breakfast was also delightful. It is about 15 minutes walk to Ortigia."

"The staff was very helpful and friendly. Although they have no parking there was plenty of free parking close by. The internet simply doesn't work. Don't count on using it on the room. You have to go to the lobby for it. The location is close enough that we walked to Ortigia and also to the archeological site. Not the prettiest site but had a good breakfast. There was a smell on the corridor/room that could be a mix of smoke or mold (couldn't identify it) but it wasn't that bad. Overall...

"We had a great stay! The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Alessandro was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and always available to help whenever we needed anything. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!"

"The staff were lovely and helpful, and the location in Siracusa was fantastic. We were an easy walk to numerous restaurants in Siracusa and Ortigia. The morning breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a perfect bonus. Would stay here any time we return!"

"The hotel is quite cool - looks unimpressive from the outside but inside the rooms are very modern and clean. We had 2 rooms on the top floor with skylights which had remote-controlled shades. We were given code access to get in - which was perfect as we arrived early and dropped our bags off. We were lucky to fin street parking just across the street from the hotel. The location was awesome. Right next to the bridge to Ortigia. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants near by. The staff...
