"First visit and I was enchanted. It is located in charming downtown Guelph, 5 minute walk from the train station. Very well appointed rooms. I had a one bedroom suite with LVR, eating area, kitchenette with full size stove and fridge. It would be suitable for long stays. However, there are no elevators so not suitable for those with mobility issues. The one drawback was the TV remote which I could not set to regular cable TV: these should be simplified as models change from one hotel to another and it is annoying to waste so much time trying to figure out how it works. Definitely not a deal breaker just annoying. I would 100% recommend and return myself. "

"On an annual trip to area with my friend. We enjoyed our stay very much. We were pleasantly surprised with the room and the self serve breakfast options. We were not in our room much except for evenings but we enjoyed watching movies and snacking on popcorn provided by the hosts. Also enjoyed playing cards that were available. Travelers have to keep an open mind that this is an older home therefore don’t expect perfection. The home is exactly as it should be represented. Definitely stay there again if in the area for future trips. Wonderful stay! "
