Our room, especially the bathroom, was small. Be aware the stairwell is steep and narrow which may not be an issue if you do not have to carry large or heavy bags to your room. "

"Very quiet, woodsy setting just off main road. Easy to reach and well-situated for a visit to Cambria and environs. Since there are only 7 rooms altogether, the proprietors operate the guest house WITHOUT any one in personal attendance. You are given parking directions in an email and a key code to enter the building and your room, so there is no key or keycard to mess with. "Cambria Pines Lodge is a beautiful place. The property is huge and is located near the town and oceanfront. There’s plenty to do if you are looking for activity but it’s also a great place to just relax and enjoy nature. I love that the place is dog friendly but if you taking your pet, be mindful that you need to book directly with the property since thord party pet bookings are not allowed."

"Cambria is without a doubt the perfect little small town vibe and the Bluebird just fit right in. Walkable to "town" with plenty of eateries ranging from high end down to backed goods and snacks. Lily's Coffee House did not disappoint! Beds were comfy, TV had plenty of channels, shower was clean and hot. If we ever drive this way again, we'll be sure to pick the Bluebird!"

"I honestly don’t understand why Cambria Beach Lodge has such a high rating. The hotel looks beautiful in photos, but in reality it’s very misleading. First of all, this is essentially a motel-style property, not a proper hotel. The rooms are extremely small and very poorly equipped. There is no table, no chair, no microwave, and no refrigerator in the room, which makes even a short stay uncomfortable — especially if you’re traveling with a child. "The property was nice and clean. They were dog friendly which was nice. Really small property, but all rooms were on floor level. The beds were comfortable for two nights. The rooms were spacious. The fridge and microwave worked well. The showers are small and there is no bathtub but the water pressure was good and the water heat was perfect. "

"This is a great place to relax. The Adirondack chairs give you a comfortable place to sit, relax and enjoy the ocean view. The board walk across the street is a lovely path to walk and catch more breath taking views. If you like exploring tide pools there is an access to them off the boardwalk just slightly right from the hotel, very close. You are also walking distance from a beach cafe."
