"everythoing was exceptional friendly staff"

"I am so very disappointed in the late responses from this hotel. I had a medical emergency and admitted into hospital at the very last moment as I was suffering from chest pains, and had to undergo urgent bloods and ecg and hotels.com tried numerous times to contact the hotel to advise that this was emergency case. Asked for me to reschedule or cancel, the hotel did not answer nor respond to any request on the day and the day after responded to state that they won’t accept a cancellation and I forfeit my night whilst I understand cancellation policy, this was my preferred hotel of choice and I find their response and not understanding to this very poor service delivery. There should have been some human thought put into this I have hospital and medical records and really the only hotel that I have been so disappointed "
