Muzium Nasional Revolusi

Originally meant to be the president's residence, dictator Porfirio Diaz ordered the construction of this building, it was delayed multiple times but in the meantime Diaz's government was overthrown by the war named Mexican Revolution. In time the project was reactivated but now as a monument honoring said war. If you visit, make sure to stay after sunset. People get together on the esplanade and you can see all kinds of colorful traditions. It is also a very safe place. #LifeAtExpedia #VisitMexico

At night, the fountain in front of the Monument to the Revolution is lit up, tempting kids and young lovers to dash through it.
On the weekends, the Revolution Monument has so much going on. There are concerts here, people practicing their dance moves, vendors selling ice cream, and kids running through fountains. It's also a pretty spectacular place to watch the sunset. #troveon
The sunset from Cha Cha Cha Terrace was amazing and we can admire the beauty of Monumento a la Revolucion in my lovely Mexico City #mexico #latam #lovemymarkets #lifeatexpedia #monuments #Culture
