The stag was amazing, the rooms were large and clean. We stayed over Christmas and they put a decorated tree in our room for the kids as well as gave us ornaments. Location was great too!

The sofa bed was horrible. Squeeked loudly and not easy to sleep on Staff nice and friendly. Good breakfast. Difficult to double park in street to unload and load baggage.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The staff was very attentive, made check in and check out easy, and provided services for room services as requested. They were quick to communicate when we had questions, and gave great suggestions for everything from restaurants to beer halls to must see attractions. The location for this hotel can’t be beat- it made all of our plans incredibly easy to execute, and allowed us to walk around Munich being right in the city center. Despite being right in the middle of all the action, the hotel was very secure (we had to use our key card to get though multiple door access points to get to our room), and our room was very quiet; the noise from the Main Street never carried into our room, which is difficult to imagine given where it is located. We had an amazing time during our week long stay at Haus im Tal, and will keep it in mind when we visit Munich again. It served as a perfect home away from home during the week of Christmas :)

Excellent location for a first time visit to Munich- walkable to everything. Had larger rooms, which we needed as a family of 3. Incredibly fun and lively rooftop bar, which was great before heading out for dinner. The hotel staff was always incredibly kind and welcoming.

Great location! Staff is very friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with coffees which is the way to my heart. The room was nice and roomy. We had the queen bed with a sofa that opened to a bed. We had a nice balcony with a view of the alley and buildings around us which was pretty. It snowed one of the days we were there so we got to see the snow on top of the building. The room has a nice size tv and a curtain between the sofa and bed for privacy. Bathroom is great. They have a hair dryer and shower items that you would need. The bathroom has a towel warmer which is a nice addition for the cold weather. The heater in the room worked great. The location of the hotel is perfect. You are steps away from great restaurants and all the shopping stores. Definitely recommend this hotel.
