The Munds Wagon Trail zig-zags across the wide, dirt road that ferries jeeps and off-road vehicles and their passengers comfortably to the top of the canyon.

Truth be told, there are only about three places where you need to cross, but the trail itself follows the road rather closely for long stretches. At those points, you're never more than fifty feet from the road itself -- which can be a bit of an encumbrance when the dust is rolling high.

For the most part, though, you'll be left alone to enjoy the vistas all by yourself. And, believe it or not, the road is often the best place to see them.

We were two families checking in, with two different types of rooms and she was really great at giving us the closest room to eachother. Great amenities and good looking rooms, well equipped. A little out of the way from the main part if town but it was well situated. - the only part that i didnt like was the resort fee which wasnt clearly advertised in Expedia, when i made the reservation"
