Vanessa, the experience coordinator, was responsive and timely, offering solutions to any problems or questions quickly. She was very flexible with us, letting us check in and out of the place late. The place was mostly clean and easy to find!
The listing was misleading, I fear. This "cabin" was not so much a cabin as a single-wide trailer in a trailer park. The hiking trails "nearby" were rocky and twisting, clearly intended for ATV or bike riding, which definitely did not meet our morning hike expectations! I had booked this place off of a search for "cabins near Sedona," to which this stay was unfortunately nowhere near (Sedona was over an hour away).
The "smart lock" on the door kept literally falling off the doorframe, scattering the batteries underneath the deck. Vanessa was helpful in opening the door again, but it was frustrating trying to get into the trailer in the dark with a lock system that flung itself at every opportunity.
The water came out of the faucet yellow. 'Nuff said.
The TV connected easily to our Netflix. While the water started off positively frigid, it warmed up quickly; we did need an hour in between showers to make sure everyone had hot water.
The creaking of the plastic paneling kept my sister up all night in the front bedroom so if you're a light sleeper, beware!
All in all, not a bad stay for the price but definitely not a cabin and the hiking trails were not all that. Vanessa was great and the place was clean and relatively easy to find!
