We stayed at this motel from 31st January to 2nd February and had booked an Executive King Room.
We initially checked into the Executive King room as booked. However, after spending around two hours in the room, we realised that the air conditioning was not cooling properly and was not blowing cold air as expected. We reported this to the staff, after which we were moved to a Standard Queen Room due to the issue.
While we appreciated being relocated, we were assured that one night would be complimentary (FOC) to account for the inconvenience caused.
Unfortunately, after checkout, no refund was processed, and we were instead charged for the full two-night stay at the Executive King room rate, despite staying in a lower-category room.
This was quite disappointing, as we relied on the assurance provided by staff and expected the charges to reflect what was promised and the room we actually stayed in. The issue was never rectified despite follow-up.
The motel itself was otherwise acceptable, but the billing issue and lack of follow-through on the promised refund significantly affected our overall experience. I hope management reviews this for better transparency and guest service going forward.
