Hotels in Mud Island, Memphis

"The staff was amazing. Bummed there is no pool and the place is a little older so the carpet was kind of stained, the hallways and elevators were kind of dingy. The breakfast area/restaurant was in decent shape and the breakfast looked amazing, but we didn’t try it as we had to get to our destination. A solid 3 but the staff definitely made it a 4! "

"We loved this hotel! The room was well-appointed, and the bathroom was beautiful! The large tiled shower was the highlight. It featured two shower heads, one being an overhead rain head. The Graceland Guest House has many amenities such as: live music, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and chocolate milk (they gave this out at 9pm), water in the lobby, and free shuttles to and from Graceland (which is across the street). The pool was closed due to the time of year we stayed (late March). The hotel also has a couple bars, two restaurants, and a cafe. My only knock against the hotel was the lack of available free coffee. I guess it’s due to the caliber of venue. But, aside from what is in your room or buying it from the cafe, there isn’t free coffee anywhere in the building. The staff was amazing! We would definitely stay at the Graceland Guest House again!!"

"Breakfast was wonderful. Better than any buffet. They even had fresh fruit. Having 3 beds was a blessing, kids didn't have to be together. Everyone was happy "

"I didn’t get to actually stay because of an emergency. I called Expedia who talked to 2 people that refused to refund me over $400. My wife went to the ER and had to have surgery. It wasn’t until I went in there and met Taffie that things got taken care of. It shouldn’t matter where someone purchases the room. An emergency is an emergency and even one of the ladies I spoke to at reservations said that but that is not the normal way for an emergency. So, I will never stay there and I will let people know. The way I was treated until I met Taffie is unacceptable. "

"The breakfast had alot of options-waffles, toast/bagels, eggs, sausage, biscuits. Cereals and milk. Grab and go included fruit and coffee. Temperatures were appropriate. Waffle station was busy, set up wasn't efficient"

"The breakfast was great, something for everyone. I had a broken coffee pot in room and it was replaced within the hour. My sister needed a shower stool, and 1st staff was unhelpful. A 2nd staff person got it done."
