"We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Pinewood Beach Resort. Everything was great, everyone in the staff was helpful, warm and welcoming, the buildings and decorations are inspired by local traditions. Food was excellent. Loved having dinner on the beach! Last but not least the beach and the garden is incredible beautiful. Will definitely come back!"

"The breakfast included us amazing. Eggs made to order, sausage/bacon, yogurt, fruit, juice, the best coffee I had in Kenya, and a wonderful selection of breads. The staff was lovely… each and every one. The pool is small but well cared for and clean. I liked being off the beaten track and yet only a couple of blocks away from the beach. I was traveling solo so for safety paid a local to walk me back to the hotel after dinner on the beach. I was very sad to leave this little heaven"

"Our stay at southern palms resort was nothing short of amazing! The resort is beautiful with big pools and is located right at the beach front. Our room was big and spacious always kept neat by our lovely housekeeper Veronica. The staff at the hotel are such lovely genuine people. Everyone made us feel right at home, starting from the manager daisy who even gave us her personal contact to call her if we needed anything at any time. Elisha the bartender at the beach bar kept our drinks flowing...

"We stayed here five nights with our family with three kids. During our stay, everything was made for us to have the most wonderful experience. The apartment is large and has all the amenities you want and the two bathrooms makes it really comfortable in terms of organization. "This place does not offer what they advertise. Contact number is not Kenyan. Very poor communication when eventually comtacted. Shared toilet and showeroom - which was unaware of when booking. Room not cleaned during stay and had to request clean towels. Kitchen area poorly maintained. Noisy at times too due to layout."
