"This is a great place to stay but it's for sleeping. No real luxury's are provided but not needed as the beds are comfortable and location is great, walk to what you need, i.e. dining, shopping or other. As for value, yoiu can't beat it. "The place seemed bigger from the photos, there were very little services at the property. No room cleaning, which is not specified when booking. The location is beautiful over the lake, but after that there is not much to do or additional amenities at the property. Another set back is that the meals are fixed to set menu for all of them, which you have to prebook. I suggest they could have additional options, considering there is no place around to go for a lunch or snack in more than 1 hour...

"The hotel is old and in need of remodeling, but clean. There is no elevator. My room was nice and clean. One thing I noticed was as old as the carpet was, it didn't make my socks or feet black, the carpet didn't feel clammy. Despite being on a corner, the hotel was quiet. I was concerned with the lack of street parking and having to park my car in the tight alley. I had a comfortable night's rest. "

"Our stay at the lodge was great for our family. The hosts were very accommodating and welcoming (early check in, playpen/crib for our toddler to sleep in, highchair provided). We stayed in the caribou room, with a beautiful view facing directly north which would be PERFECT to catch the northern lights right from your room. We were able to use the shared kitchen to prepare dinner and there is everything you need and more offered. (Coffee, tea, water, etc) It was very quiet at night. Thank you...

"This gem is located on the outskirts of Whitehorse, but close enough to be downtown within a 7 minute drive. The cabins are cozy and comfortable, with beautiful views from the large windows. The owner was awesome at checking in throughout my stay ensuring I had everything I needed! Highly recommend this place, and hope to be back soon on my next work trip! "
