What a terrific staff in an incredibly historical environment steeped in history. We love this place. Moulins is off the beaten path but an amazing little city with tons to offer. Hotel Mercure, in the heart of the city, is a gem!

in general the property was ok, but it was very VERY badly isolated , we could hear the neighbours above us walking. room was ok but small , bathroom was good. we had a small balcony , perfect for sitting outside .

The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of everything Moulins has to offer. We stayed on Sunday and the restaurant was closed as was most of the rest of the town, but a café steps from the front door was open. The room was fairly small but the splendid bathroom made up for it! The staff were courteous and helpful'

A jewel of a hotel at a great price

I was carried away by this newly renovated hotel, and would recommend it highly to anyone. Excellent location, beautiful hotel, with great rooms, very nice big bathroom, spacious room. Excellent helpful and engaging staff at reception, and an exceptional reasonable price . Ate at the restaurant and it was a great value, with excellent food (far surpassing a supposedly highly rated cuisine we had the night before elsewere). Can't praise this jewel enough

The rooms were lovely and well appointed. Most staff spoke a little English so communication was not an issue. I liked having access to the spa however perhaps there should be one point of payment to prevent Being confused. There was no access to a restaurant which would have been nice to know at the time of booking.

Lovely hotel

It was a lovely surprise, I did not expect very much due to lack of research. Chose this hotel purely because it is next to the main tourist attractions in town. The build is a very well kept, stately period building, and the décor fits the period very well, and all the modern comfort is there too. Excellent bathroom with multi-functional shower, and heated towel racks, etc. The room is well lit, with various reading lights, bed, and pillows are comfortable, dressing gown and slippers are provided. However breakfast is quite ordinary, 16 euro/person, I suppose it is alright.

Commençons par le positif : chambre spacieuse - bon emplacement prés des commodités et sites a visiter - parking facile - bâtiment imposant dont on perçoit la splendeur passée. Le positif s arrête là pour nous. Je crois qu il y a des chambres rénovées...ce n est pas le cas de la 203 que nous occupions et qui a grand besoin d un bon rafraichissement. Odeur nauséabonde de renfermé ou moisi ? dès l ascenseur et vraiment présente dans la chambre. impossible d ouvrir les fenêtres en grand pour s en débarrasser. Literie et draps comme la chambre... très usagers Bouilloire en panne. On m en fourni une autre youpi : je vais pouvoir me faire un petit thé réconfortant ! Ah non zut ! Il.n y a que 2 tasses a expresso dont une contenant encore un reste de sucre du précédant occupant j imagine... on a fait avec les verres a dent de la sdb... Petit déjeuner dans la même lignée confitures Bonne Maman Viennoiseries pas fraîches. De quoi faire rechauffer des crêpes super ! Mais pas de spatules pour s en servir....Voilà... pas digne du tout d un 4 étoiles. C est la 1ere fois que nous sommes déçus d un Hôtel Mercure.

Nous avons fait une halte au Mercure Moulins Hôtel de Paris (Moulins, Allier) lors d’un déplacement, et ce fut une très belle surprise. L’accueil a été chaleureux et professionnel, avec un personnel attentif et souriant. Nous avons eu la chance d’être surclassés, et la chambre était tout simplement superbe : spacieuse, élégamment décorée et parfaitement équipée. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour la qualité du service et cette belle expérience. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter !

10/10 pour la beauté de l’hôtel.

Magnifique hôtel, hélas pour cette catégorie la chaîne Mercure n’est pas à la hauteur de l’endroit et du prix. Gros trous à l’entrée du parking privé payant 8€, très jolie chambre 202 mais moquette tachée, 60€ pour un départ tardif à 13 h au lieu de midi c’est exorbitant. Pas de pince au petit déjeuner pour saisir les viennoiseries. Des petits détails qui pourraient être facilement résolus.

A éviter absolument : surbooking régulier

Dans le cadre d'un déplacement professionnel, nous avions une réservation de 5 chambres, déjà payées, pour un montant total de 850€. A notre arrivée, le personnel nous annonce qu'il y a eu du surbooking, que l'hôtel est complet et qu'il manque une chambre. L'alternative proposée est un autre hôtel situé à 45 minutes à pied (sachant que nous n'avions pas de voiture). Aucun geste commercial n'a été effectué et nous avons même dû régler la taxe de séjour (2€/chambres). Concernant le remboursement de la chambre manquante, le personnel s'est dédouané en nous demandant de gérer ça avec le site de réservation. Je précise également qu'une autre personne, qui ne faisait pas parti de notre groupe, a également été confrontée à la même situation, le même jour. Ce qui atteste d'un problème régulier et récurrent (tout comme d'autres commentaires sur cet hôtel qui confirment le problème).

Séjour pour un mariage dans la région de Moulins. Logés dans la maison annexe, sans ascenseur, au 2eme étage, sans aide pour montée notre bagage, mais au calme. Une piscine petite, extérieur. Parking voiture 8€. Beau centre ville visité à pied.

Bel hôtel mais l’accueil surtout à l’arrivée très impersonnel. Accor ferait bien de proposer une formation à la relation client. Je viens dans cet hôtel depuis longtemps mais je commence à me lasser. Travailler dans l’hôtellerie c’est de soucier de fidéliser la clientèle : poser des questions, s’intéresser à l’autre. Et… expliquer comment fonctionne le buffet du petit déjeuner.

Fantastique hôtel et encore je n'ai pas vu le SPA... Charme qui mélange l'ancien - tel un petit château - et le moderne avec tout le confort. Lit gigantesque !

Séjour agréable mais le matelas de la chambre était particulièrement inconfortable et glissait du sommier. La fenêtre ne pouvait être ouverte entièrement, ce qui n'est pas très agréable.

Accueil tres moyen. A notre arrivée personne à l'accueil nous avons du chercher quelqu'un.Aucun renseignements sur la ville meme pas un plan. Petit déjeuner tres moyen le pain était de la veille ,les oeufs brouillés tout sec. Le personnel n'est meme pas capable de dire bonjour !!!
