Trevligt ställe med god frukost

Trevligt ställe och god frukost. Poolen och trädgården kändes lite eftersatt. Våningssängen i vårt rum för 4 personer var väldigt svajig och skulle behöva bytas ut.

The property is clean and the staff friendly but it’s in need of updating and the location is not great, it’s too far away from the centre and you don’t walk around at night here. There is also no air con in the rooms.

Haus ist innen schön gestaltet, tropisch mit Fischen und historischer backsteinoptik. Aber Betten, Handtücher etc recht alt und muffig. Pool auch leider nicht gut gepflegt. Lage gut, mit dem Auto ist man schnell am Strand und peak. Würde dies nur für eine Nacht empfehlen.

One of the most pleasant and beautiful stay. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful yet non-interfering. Place is nicely done up. Rooms are simply charming and pleasant ! Steve the owner is a superb gentleman. Came down personally during breakfast and spent good time with all his guest. I was humbled that he took me for a trip to his own place. All in all - beautiful experience and highly recommended.

138 Marine ‘Dream’

Amazing place to stay for the night as we travelled east on the garden route. Stunning view of the ocean from our bedroom, nothing between us and the waves. To top it off, probably the best breakfast I’ve ever eaten in a guest house.

Wonderful view from Room and Breakfast Balcony.Wonderful Quality throughout the Guest House everywhere!! Unique exposed brickwork, Fish Ponds and Banana tree INSIDE house made us feel like Kings and Queens during our stay. Unique Guest House (we stayed in 14 different ones during our 4 weeks stay in the Western Cape}. None were better than this. Than you so much for sharing your home with us. we feel privileged to have stayed with you.

Auf Durchreise in Mossel Bay

Wir haben die Gartenroute von Kapstadt bis Port Elizabeth bereist. Ich kannte das Mossel Bay Guesthouse schon von einem Besuch im Vorjahr und hatte es wieder gebucht. Die Lage ist in einem Wohngebiet oberhalb der Stadt. In 5-10 min ist man mit dem Auto am Wasser. Die Unterkunft selbst ist eher "old style", aber die Zimmer sind komfortable eingerichtet und das Frühstück sehr gut (Eierspeisen nach Wunsch).

Entäuschend

Leider war die Unterkuft nicht so wie erwartet. Das Haus selbst wäre wunderschön, und die Lage einzigartig, aber es ist in die Jahre gekommen und müffelt. In unserem Bad wucherte Schimmel übe die ganze Decke hinweg und hinterliess einen stechenden Duft. Das Duvet und Kissen mussten wir selbst nochmals überziehen, weil wir den Gestank kaum aushalten konnten. Wirklich wirklich schade, aber ich würde niemandem empfehlen hier zu übernachten!

Surpreendente.

Ficamos surpresos com o local. É bastante aconchegante, é impressionante o capricho das instalações e os donos são muitíssimos simpáticos. Além disso, o quarto tem nos fundos vista para o mar.

Die Unterkunft wirkt etwas veraltet Pool nicht nutzbar müssten insgesamt mal etwas investiert werden positiv ist der free Shuttel in die Stadt zu werten da es doch etwas abseits liegt.
