I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience! The room was spotless and very comfortable, making it a great place to relax. The location is perfect, just a short walk y ok the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean and convenient stay!

We got a free upgrade and had a really big apartment with two bathrooms and three bedrooms as well as a really big kitchen. Everything looked clean. Sitting on our terrace we could see the ocean and the pool area and we had a stunning view. The only things we have to complain is that we did not have warm what we forgot to say at the reception since we stayed only for one night.

Great for families on a budget

Perfect budget getaway for families with kids. Waterpark on the premises was amazing, beach was clean and safe, with lifegaurds on duty. Rooms have been refurbished recently. Mom and dad can put their feet up while the kids roam and explore 😀

SHOCKING SERVICE FROM RESTAURANT

The service in the restaurant was diabolical - absolutely shocking - i understand it was the Iron Man - and they cannot cope with groups - the front of house manageress was trying her best - but when you order a well done burger and it comes raw and you complain and nothing gets done - just gets looked at and says not well done and walks off. waited over 2 hours for burger and pasta . waitrons all disappeared - couldnt cope - bad experience

Nice view- bad food

We had booked a superior room and we got a fine room at 12 floor with a nice view. Nice and clean room but also rather impersonal. The breakfast was fine as well. BUT the restaurant in the hotel was a disaster to be quite honest. The restaurant was not even half full but anyway we were seated in the dark corner next to the kitchen door - why!! We asked to be moved and we did. The waiter was lost in taking order, we ordered two times drink, two starters and two main dishes. Everything came at the same time and the food was almost all fried and might have been under a heeding lamp for a long time. Dry meat and soft and super borrowing fries. Not really worth eating. Absolutely the worst meal in South Africa… so stay there but don’t eat here apart from breakfast

Das Zimmer was super. Sah renoviert aus. Hammer Aussicht. Das Hotel super alt. Es roch nach Insektizide. Aufzug sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Baustelle am Eingang. Klimaanlage nur im Wohnzimmer. Schlafzimmer sehr warm und hellhörig. Man hörte das Meer und die Wellen aber nicht auf eine schöne Art. Sehr laut und deswegen schlecht geschlafen ( Fenster waren zu) Abendessen super! Frühstück nicht gut.
2 Zimmer suite. Hier gab es eine Klimaanlage die leider bis zum Schlafzimmer nicht reichte. Über 27 grad im Zimmer.
Hammer Aussicht aber Fenster nicht richtig dicht und sehr laut und hellhörig.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der 10. Etage somit super Ausblick. Das Zimmer ist gross genug und hat ein tolles, bequemes Bett und ordentliches Bad. Kann ich empfehlen.

Was disappointed because when we got there, thry told me that I have to pay while I did make the payment already. They also didn't change one of my booking dates-I did communicate with a lady, Sonja. I will really think twice before booking at Diaz. But we enjoyed ourselves.

GOOD: Safe. Nice pool. Virtually right on the beach. Nice for kids. Rooms comfortable with superb view. BAD: TV picture quality not good. Available TV channels extremely limited. Music from the outdoor bar very irritating. Is it necessary? Restaurants/bars don’t really need music. Fortunately it stops at 22:00.
