"This stay was very good. The staff was very nice and helpful. We swam in the pool every day and it was a good temperature and clean. The breakfast was good and always being refilled with fresh food. "This is not your typical hotel stay, so when I say everything was well maintained, service was good, etc, it accounts for the fact it is a very old home with some original or era appropriate things (such as old doornobs which my daughter commented on), and that it is a true B&B so it is their home and they have lives and it is not a standard hotel setting (they had a hair dryer, just not in every bathroom). "We stayed here overnight for 4th weekend. The property was very clean, staff was kind and welcoming. We have a dog and there are two places for restroom with doggie bags and a trash can! They even give you a door tag to let the cleaners know you have a dog. We also got welcome and departure water bottles, which was amazing after and before a day of travel. "The room appeared clean when I entered. The room was very damp, most likely from the A/C running and set to a low temperature. I had a room with two queen beds; The bed I chose to sleep in was closest to the window. Once I got into the bed I noticed a strong body odor. I couldn't tell if the odor as from the sheets or in the mattress. I changed to the other bed, and it appeared to be ok."

"Overall the experience was good. My only issues were that my window ended up facing another building. I didn't mind it too much so it wasn't a huge issue. Just a heads up for others that it may be a possibility. The other issue was that the exhaust in the bathroom runs non-stop. There is no switch to turn it off.
