Overall we were happy with our stay. The ocean view from our balcony was great and we saw whales breaching off shore both afternoons. The building is a bit run down and showing signs of neglect. The room was nice and clean. The bed was nice and comfy. Internet was excellent, and the breakfast was good and a lot to choose from.

The venue was convenient, clean and a great location for accessing the city of Newcastle. I did need to use WIFI and, while it was available, it was a free low speed throttled service. I would like to have known in advance that I had to pay extra to access a usable data rate.
