"Absolute disgrace of a place. Myself, my mum and my two children booked here for two nights. The fold out bed was apparently for two people. There’s no way. There was a single duvet on it and only one clean towel on top (three towels in total for 4 guests), so even the staff are aware that it cannot sleep 2 persons. "It needs a crib sheet in each room telling of breakfast times, emergency tel no's etc. The room was very dark. Bathroom OK but would benefit from some shelves to put toiletries on etc. Breakfasts were very good with a wide choice. Dining in was v good but we felt overpriced. The whole experience was good but felt at £180 it represnted poor value."

"This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening. "Good location. About 8mins walk into town. Very few car parking spaces in front (5) but we managed to get one. Staff were friendly but it was harder to find them than expected! Ringing the bell for attention didn’t elicit a reaction on check in or checkout and had to look for someone. Room was good size (we had room 7, called ‘Excellent’ on the website). Nice big metal bath and shower. Pretty good for the money although the toilet was very slow refilling after a flush - about five mins before it...
