"Rick provides an excellent breakfast and some great conversation. Definitely better than the regular boring hotel. The parking lot is small, so maybe bring a midsize or compact vehicle vs a full size crew cab truck."

"Did not expect to pay for parking,disappointing. Outdated in style. Too expensive for no immenities. Advertises 2 pool whereas there is only one very small pool Tikki bar out of order. I paid $300 for an ocean view. Poor service. No continental breakfast included for the $300 room fee.Hotel in general needs a serious upgrade. Would definitely NOT recommend"

"Staying here is mainly for the location. It needs a huge makeover as far as how old it is with the rusted beams holding up the second and third floors. The dresser and nightstand drawers smell like mildew. The plunger and toilet cleaning brush looked dirty sitting in the bathroom. Staff was helpful, easy check in and parking, not their fault the hotel is old and needs a major facelift. The location is great though and walking distance to the beach and restaurants."

"When I arrived at the property there was a man staying at the hotel begging for money. The property looked rundown and looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The worst looking hotel downtown Savannah. The carpet in the room needed shampooing or replacement. However, overall the room was cleaned. My wife was uncomfortable and felt unsafe. We didn't not get a good night rest. We checked out 20 minutes before breakfast and tried to get a couple of cup of coffee. Office/lounge was locked....

"The room was livable but had several problems. The fridge was frosted to the point of not working. The pool area had a trash can that was full for three days. The staff was friendly enough but when a noise issue was reported their actions was ineffectual."

"Staff was nice, but the room smelt like mildew, there were burn holes on the sheets, and right before we were about to go to bed we found a ROACH on the pillow. We checked out in the middle of the night and went to a hotel instead. The stairs also were easy to trip on as the metal pieces on the edges of them were peeling up... Never coming back here"

"The property is conveniently located in an ideal location centrally to many walkable attractions. It is on one of the most beautiful streets in the historic area. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The courtyard was a relaxing retreat throughout the day. The hotel was offering breakfast that was creative and delicious. They also offered an evening wine and cheese social which provided an opportunity to meet with others staying at the property. ...

"The room was very spacious. More like a 1 bedroom apartment. They offered a happy hour but unfortunately we weren’t able to take advantage of it due to having other activities at the same time. Water and soda was available in the lobby. Walkable to everything. Staff friendly and helpful."

"The breakfast was not consistent, but there was a wide variety. I think for being a Michelin star it should’ve had homemade pastries not store-bought. I also feel like it should’ve had a small microwave in the room and makeup wipes or makeup towel or something to clean your face with. The bedding was amazing Mattress a bit soft for our taste, but that’s a hard one to get right."

"We had a slight hiccup with the room due to a housekeeping issue but it was immediately resolved and we were moved. The staff is absolutely amazing here and they go above and beyond. We had breakfast and drinks at Bar Julian and it was great. We took advantage of the free ride into town which was a plus! Amanda’s map was so well thought out and we really got an opportunity to really see the town. Stellar service from Amanda, MaKayla, Kevin, Justin and the sweetest bartender in the pool area...
