Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. Parking was on site & safe. The apartment big enough for 2 or 3. It was very Central and a walk to town. An unexpected bonus was the inclusion of a variety of fruit and a fridge full of milk, juices, fruit yoghurts, cereals, jams pikelets & muesli bars. Enjoyed our stay. Strongly recommend.

We went specifically to see the geese at the Montrose basin and we weren't dissapointed with the spectacle they and other wildlfe around the area treated us to. Sharkys good for food and hospitality.
