We were very happy with the room. The beds were comfortable, the room was very clean. The air conditioning was a little bit noisy. The breakfast had some things to be desired. No juice if you didn't drink coffee, you were out of luck. Lack of fruit, but they did offer toast. some pastries, and of course, the waffles and yogurt. They had cereal but not enough milk. It was a minimal breakfast. What I stay there again yes.

This is a budget. Hotel Montrose is a good location towards the area if you’re on a budget. From here telluride and some of the other towns like ouray are feasible to drive. Don’t expect a lot, we have issues with our shower in our air conditioner lady at the front desk was friendly, but the gentleman not so much amenities were a little lacking.

Most of the staff is friendly. Room is clean. Hallways are too dark. Need to install better or additional lighting. Flowers at the entrance are neglected and basically dead. Things like this should be cared for and maintained for a good first impression. Hard boiled eggs are not replenished during breakfast. On one morning, the staff member saw that the eggs had run out and simply removed the serving container. It's the only real source of protein besides the flavored yogurt. This was before 8am and breakfast is offered til 9am. Bathroom wall opposite the sink was touched up with a paint not quite matching the original color. It doesn't look good. Windows are dirty. Windows in the hallway has smudges all over it. Towels are clean but have seen better days. Need to get new or upgrade towels. Chairs outside the front door are dirty. Simple maintenance and pride of workplace goes a long way.

It was conveniently located to Black Canyon NP. Otherwise it was dark, dingy, stained sheets, and cracked bath tub. The breakfast was okay, some cereal, oatmeal packet, waffle machine, and toast. There wasn't nearly enough room for people to sit and eat, though, which is challenging with small children. We booked the room for four people but they only provided three towels (we went and got another). The AC took a while to kick in but once it did it worked well.

It was very quiet, I couldn't hear anyone once I was in my room. That is critical for me. My AC made a noise the first night and I reported it and a new AC was installed the next day and I was given a different room for the night. The cleaning ladies were very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be to get some kind of lighting in the hall upstairs as it was hard to see where to slide the key card. But I managed ok. I would definitely stay here again.

Room very dark as was the hallway. Bathroom very small and room felt claustrophobic. Would have been better if it wasn't painted dark green. Beds kept sliding off the base. It needs new beds, bedding and towels although clean very worn. Staff helpful when we needed anything. Also walls paper thin and could hear everything from next room.
