"Small room for the money."

"We had an unexpected stop due to car issues late at night, and Kathy at the check in desk was wonderful. Kind, welcoming, and even later checked to make sure we had enough towels. Gave us recommendations on where to eat later at night. We just passed through so didn’t get to utilize any of the amenities. A bit older with drop ceiling in rooms, but clean and very convenient."

"Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont."

When we arrived, we realized that our “upgraded “ room was at the ground level by the pool, it did have with a small wooden deck and sitting room, but the entire space felt like we were in someone’s basement.
