"The hosts were very kind and accommodating, treating us like friends. Note that you trade a beautiful view plus peaceful quiet for many steps. We found it well worth it, considering the easily walkable distance to the Old City as well as many great restaurants. If there were umbrellas over the terrace, it would be a perfect 10. Highly recommend the property and hosts. If we return to Dubrovnik we will return to this property."

"The property was well located and clean. Staff was quite helpful and quick in responding. The neighbourhood is well connected and very close to old town. Somethings in the room were not working so had to trouble the staff more frequently. Otherwise everything was perfect. Room comes with small kitchen and fridge."

"The images of the accommodations are misleading. You are not getting the view that is being advertised, however that was the least of our worries. Our room had a queen size bed and a twin, the twin seems to be used as a couch but it was covered by a filthy blanket with no sheets. The room is extremely outdated and hasn’t had a deep clean probably ever. The shower has hard water marks and debris on the walls. There is no body wash or shampoo or conditioner. The hot water is operated via switch which takes forever to heat up and has about 5 minutes of hot water. The towels were SO OLD. Somehow the bathroom had insects, we saw a millipede on one of the towels and ants on the floor. The fridge in the room did not work, the kettle had black mold. We found an old box of candy beside the couch clearly indicating the rooms are not thoroughly cleaned. The room beside us had their bathroom window into the hallway beside our entry door so we heard all the activity from the bathroom as well as all the smells. Out of our three nights we had wifi for one. When asking the host if she can fix the wifi she simply pointed to the router and said it’s out of her control."

"We were very happy with our stay at City Residences. Communication with hosts was great and Josip kindly waited for us to check in at 10pm. The distance to the Old Town was not an issue at all as the bus was convenient. The area is quiet but there are shops and restaurants located nearby. We also thought the price was very reasonable for Dubrovnik. Highly recommend."

"Great location overlooking the water. As this is a converted villa, they do not have a front desk to check in. They use key codes to enable entry in the villa and your room. I did not know this until I arrived. Expedia sent me multiple emails while I was in flight and I did not have a chance to check emails when I touched down to get this info. Fortunately there was staff there to help me out. My room was large and modern. Very comfortable"
