"A small, quiet hotel with just a few rooms set in the Chianti region of Tuscany. Huge pool that was just getting ready to open for the season. I get the sense it could get very busy but n the heat of the summer. Staff was excellent and very accommodating. A short drive to Siena and several small towns in Chianti."

"Everything was clean and the people were very kind and helpful. Our room was definitely more like a city apartment and less like a cozy country stay. For the size of the bathroom, the shower was very small. The beds were very hard, although I appreciated the extra blankets. The courtyard could have been better presented. Breakfast was good, but not included in the price of the stay. Dinner was excellent. Cappuccini were mostly foam and no coffee."

"Beautiful, clean apartments in tiny Castelnuovo Berardenga. Perfect for day trips throughout Tuscany with a drive of an hour or less to just about anywhere. Guiliani was an absolute gem and she took wonderful care of us. In addition to the excellent wines of Poggio Bonelli, there are a couple excellent restaurants in Castelnuovo Berardenga with Bengodi Enoteca Ristorante being absolutely superb."
