Nice place

It was a beautiful place, but very far from dining. I feel they should have had a way to address that by having more options for cooking. The walk to the lake was nice; easy trail to follow and two local dogs 'helped' us find the way. The loft was nice, but the ladder was kind of tough to navigate.

If you are on the fence about booking, book it now. The accommodations are amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the modern cabin, short walk to the lake, and the fire pit. I attempted to use the outdoor shower but the water was too cold for me (I prefer very hot showers). This is the perfect getaway for relaxation. There are a few other cabins nearby but I didn't hear much noise from any of the other guest. I plan to come back again next year!

Amazing!

This was an amazing property to stay at. The owner of the property is welcoming and easy to communicate with. The cabin is newly built and is a the perfect place to get away from it all. It is tucked away in the Sam Houston Forrest and you can submerse into the idea of potentially encountering a North American Wood Ape.
