"I was really disappointed with my stay at Hayes Mansion. Based on the property and the price, I expected a much better experience. The biggest issue was the pool area. There were only two lounge chairs available for the entire pool, and once they were occupied, I had no choice but to lay my towels on the ground to relax. I spoke with the front desk twice asking if additional lounge chairs could be brought out. Both times I was told someone would check with engineering and get back to me, but no...

"The good: - friendly, nice, helpful staff - spacious room and shower - delicious free coffee - quiet - A/C worked well The bad: - the bed was itchy (I slept poorly) - the toilet seat was beat up - they began clearing the buffet 5-10 minutes before the scheduled time (there was plenty of food and we were still eating) - elevator door closes fast I chose this hotel due to brand name and price. I will consider other hotels before returning."

"Very clean room, we got everything we needed, anything we did needed the staff was very helpful. Friendly, we had an issue with the A/C but the issue was resolved quickly and in professional manner. Very quiet area. I heard the birds in the early morning it was very nice. Thanks for a great stay at the super 8."

"This hotel was lovely. There was breakfast that was delicious and the rooms were very nice. It was clean and the pool area was very fun. We stayed here for a soccer tournament and it was the perfect set up for our team to hang out and have fun. The staff was fantastic about helping us get a sweater we left behind returned. It was a great stay."

"The room was bigger than usual, has the jacuzzi, carpets in the hallway and room are very clean. No odors of cigarettes in the whole facility. Bathroom was very clean and fairly new. The pressure from the shower could be better, the water from the sink could flow faster. Air conditioner was working very well and not loud, the best treat was the control was on the wall. A lot of choices for breakfast but typical quality from hotels that offer them, no gourmet food. I wished the parking was free...

"I was disappointed by the reception team during my recent stay. Despite arriving with heavy luggage, not a single staff member offered to help or even acknowledged the struggle. A hotel’s front desk sets the tone for the entire experience, and unfortunately this one felt indifferent to guests’ basic needs. I hope management addresses this, as a little attentiveness goes a long way in hospitality."

"I use this Motel off and on for about two months. It is always clean and the cleaning staff changes out towels and will make your bed daily if you ask them. And the rooms are cheaper through Expedia."

"Hyatt has tried to put lipstick on a pig with this one. Pictures look waaay better than the actual product. Hotel interiors are dated, carpets need replacement, check in staff were going through the motions, and the breakfast with that mass produced omelettes was absolutely pathetic."

"The room was clean and there was plenty of parking available. The location was very close to downtown San Jose and SJSU. Also, several fast food restaurants on the block and across the street. This was an afforable and convenient location to stay for the SJSU commencement."

"Hair dryer does not work, both key cards don’t work. Try to call staff at 11 pm (after hour) and it take 30 minutes."
